BPG holds seminar in the city of Foz do Iguaçu together with the IACC

September 11th last, BPG held an interactive seminar about counterfeiting of products in partnership with the International Anticounterfeiting Coalision – IACC. IACC is the biggest non-profit American association focused on the combat of trademark counterfeiting. With headquarters in Washington, IACC has over 100 renowned companies as associates, some of them are also BPG associates. The event in Foz had the lectures of Mr.Rafael Rodrigues Dolzan – Chief of Customs in Foz, Mr. Rodrigo de Campos Costa – Chief of Federal Police in Foz, Mr. Raone Nogueira – Chief of Federal Highway Police in Foz and Dr. Liz Afonso, Prosecutor from Ciudad del Este, Paraguay. The training segment of the event featured presentations from of 22 companies and innovated with interactive training, where all attendees separated in small groups moved amongst the brand representatives tables, those directly interacting with attendees, who were able to handle genuine and counterfeit products. Representatives from Customs, Federal Police, Civil Police and Federal Highway Police participated in the event.
