Joint inspection of PRF and Federal Revenue found among the material Xiaomi cell phones.
About 2.7 tons of goods without legal documentation were seized during inspection by the Federal Highway Police (PRF) in a joint action with the Federal Revenue. Part of the equipment was found during an inspection of a truck on BR-116, in Chorozinho, in the Metropolitan Region of Fortaleza, this Monday (15). Another part was in a warehouse in Fortaleza.
The material did not have all necessary documentation to prove tax compliance. Among the goods, there were Xiaomi phones, cases and chargers. PRF and Federal Revenue found a shed in Bairro Paupina, in Fortaleza, where most of the seized material was, with evidence of illegal import, according to the PRF.
There were also films for cell phones, headphones, portable speakers, IPTV receivers, among others. The equipment was collected by the Federal Revenue.
