Federal Revenue seizes 20 thousand counterfeit products in Teresina downtown
The operation was organized by the command of the Division for the Suppression of Smuggling and Disposal of the 3rd Tax Region of the Federal Revenue with support from the Military Police.
The Federal Revenue seized, on Friday (5), about 20 thousand counterfeit products during an operation in two stores in Teresina downtown. According to them, the seized goods consist largely of toys, cell phone accessories, cases and electronics.
The Operation was organized by the command of the Division for the Suppression of Smuggling and Disposal of the 3rd Tax Region of the Federal Revenue with support from the Military Police. Started in Piauí, the operation also took place in the states of Ceará and Maranhão.
The management of the Federal Revenue of Piauí informed that, after the conclusion of the administrative terms, given the nature of the material seized, the products did not contain a seal of security and control of health surveillance, and for that reason they were the target of searches to be destroyed.
