Load of drinks without tax documents is seized in house in Gurupi city

Military authorities arrived at the location after an anonymous denounce. The truck and all the items were seized.

A large load of alcoholic beverages was seized in Gurupi city, in the south of the state, for not having tax documentation. The goods were being unloaded in a house located in the Setor União V this Saturday (31).

According to the Military Police (PM), the teams arrived at the site after an anonymous complaint. Several men on site were unloading the products. There was also food inside the shipment.

The truck with the goods had originated from the state of Goiás. The military identified that the items had no invoice. A tax auditor was called to investigate the situation of the cargo and confirmed the crime of tax evasion.

Those responsible for the cargo will receive a notice for the irregularity. The truck with all the drinks was sealed and taken to the patio of the Tax Police Station in Gurupi. Later, an inventory of the seizures will be made.
